Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Portland, TX. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $15.60 per hour. The position supports part-time availability with opportunities to move toward a full-time schedule, and involves customer service, patrols, and incident response at a designated site.

Qualifications

Guard Card/License preferred.
Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while performing security procedures and emergency response.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document entry per site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to appropriate contacts.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
