Job summary

Allied Universal in Pharr, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol. Fix-shift anchor at a designated site with six-month commitment, plus option to claim extra shifts via scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear, timely reports.
• Maintain awareness of site conditions, complete required activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as directed.
