Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in West Chester, OH. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The pay rate is $17.51 per hour with a Fri 02:00 PM - 07:00 PM schedule and a path toward greater hours. Responsibilities include customer service to tenants and visitors, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.
