Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Ladson, SC. You will monitor and patrol the facility, manage access control, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role offers a part-time schedule with shifts such as 06:00–14:00 on weekdays and requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and background checks. CPR is preferred and benefits include health insurance and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience (armed or unarmed).
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and using established procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to site contacts.
