Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Ladson, SC to provide dependable, flexible hours at a designated site. Earn more by picking up additional shifts via our platform, with a fixed anchor shift and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

The role offers part-time hours, a base pay of $16.33 per hour, and opportunities to grow while supporting customers and employees with security procedures and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the site.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and report unauthorized activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
