Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items and activity.
• Verify access credentials and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and screening records as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
