Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a Part Time, Afternoon shift in Blythewood, SC. The role focuses on unarmed patrols, access control, and delivering excellent customer service to clients across manufacturing and industrial sites.

The position requires at least two years of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with background checks and drug screening conducted as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site policies and security procedures in an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a calm, controllable manner per site procedures.
• Perform regular and random unarmed patrols of designated areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed.
• Document patrols and incidents and relay information to site contacts and leadership.
