Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Blythewood, SC to protect client facilities and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide professional customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.

This full-time role offers daytime/evening shifts with a pay rate of $19.10 per hour, plus benefits like health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and licensing per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors following site policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy violations to site leadership.
