Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide security, deter incidents, and maintain a visible presence at an aerospace/defense site with a DoD Secret clearance.

Build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and deliver professional customer service. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of background and drug screening as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and hazards to site personnel.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
