Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) in Mc Lean, VA. You will monitor premises, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of security or related experience, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR or Guard Card is a plus; the role includes shift-based daytime and evening hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
