Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for an Arlington, VA site. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma; background checks and a drug screen are standard. This position offers flexible hours and opportunities to join a large, mission-driven security team.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors and property personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner following reporting procedures.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.
