Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) in Chantilly, VA. You will monitor assigned areas, deter security incidents, and deliver courteous customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to join a leading national security team. Prior CPR or guard license is preferred, and all applicants undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation per procedures.
