Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Leesburg, VA to patrol and safeguard clients across various industries. You will perform routine security procedures, report observations, and interact with employees and visitors to provide excellent service.

The position supports a flexible schedule with shifts posted through our Claim a Shift platform. Candidates must meet the minimum requirements and be comfortable using a computer or tablet on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology data centre by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data centre buildings, offices, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas while reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and property loss through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents.
