Job summary

Allied Universal in Battle Creek, MI seeks a part-time Security Officer Access Control to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial locations. You will monitor entry points, verify visitor authorization, perform patrols, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Qualifications include being at least 18 (21 for armed roles), HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and valid driver's license where required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and reporting observations to management.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, offices, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs of entries, exits and incidents.
Report hazards, damaged access controls and policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
