Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Driving Role) in Saint Paul, MN. The position offers a flexible, part-time schedule and a pay rate of $23.18 per hour. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at the site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes safety, integrity, and professional conduct. Shifts are available Monday and Friday mornings to support operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a medical technology and manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
