Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Paramus, NJ. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a retail location.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and use of a computer/tablet for documentation. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, completing reports, and maintaining a professional presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving duties.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols throughout retail areas and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in a professional manner.
