Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card/license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols in retail areas and surrounding facilities.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a customer-focused retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Possess CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
