Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver) in Springfield, MO. You will patrol retail locations, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to shoppers and staff.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and passing a background check and drug screen. Schedule includes DayTime weekends and weekdays with a pay rate of $17.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required. Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and traffic flow during operations and events.
