Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a route patrol in South Chesterfield, VA. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a logistics and distribution site.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma, with eligibility for a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations following reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations and communicate to site contacts and leadership.
