Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Customer Service Security Officer in Boston, MA. You will patrol retail locations, assist customers and employees, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout luxury retail areas, stockroom-adjacent spaces, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site procedures and communicating with management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports while supporting a welcoming, professional environment for customers and store associates.
