Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for Bal Harbour, FL, to provide on-site security at a luxury retail location, perform patrols, assist customers and store teams, and maintain clear communication with management.

The role offers daytime/evening shifts with a pay rate of $19.57 per hour. A background check and drug screening are required, with high school diploma or equivalent preferred. This position supports a customer-focused security team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees at a luxury retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, employee spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store management, employees, visitors, and responding emergency personnel.
