Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Engagement in Bal Harbour, FL. You will provide security and customer service at a luxury retail location, performing patrols, controlling access, and maintaining logs.

Schedule: Wed 2:00 PM–9:00 PM and Sun 2:00 PM–9:00 PM; pay rate: $19.57/hour; this role offers flexible shift options and growth opportunities within our team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and store teams, and communicate clearly while responding to concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees at a luxury retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, employee spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store management, employees, visitors, and responding emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
