Job summary

Allied Universal in El Paso, TX, is seeking a Security Guard (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver) to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. This role offers flexible scheduling with evening shifts and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, plus opportunities to grow through training and advancement programs.

Responsibilities include patrolling, customer service, incident response, and maintaining logs. Candidates need at least one year in security, a valid driver’s license, and a high school

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations promptly according to site procedures.
• Maintain clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while working collaboratively with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
