Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for unarmed mobile patrol in Durham, NC. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a base pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

The schedule includes Sat and Sun nights, with opportunities to scale hours up to 40 weekly. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response and regular patrols, with reporting and coordination with site leadership.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience or more.
• Valid driver’s license per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background inquiry required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility, production areas, access points, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and directing visitors.
• Complete required reports and logs and communicate information to leadership.
