Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Battle Creek is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time role with 24 hours per week and 48 hours per pay period. The candidate will perform non-invasive ultrasound scans, maintain patient records, and support radiology staff with quality imaging.

Requires an Associate’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or a hospital-based certificate, with ARDMS eligibility in OB/GYN/Abdomen or Breast depending on assignment, and BLS within 6–12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or completion of an accredited sonography program.
• Minimum of a certificate of completion of a hospital-based program or an associate's degree in Radiology Technology.
• Six months to a year of on-the-job clinical experience.
• BLS certification within 6-12 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform non-invasive scans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information.
• Demonstrate patient care competencies and communication with staff and physicians.
• Perform quality control and report equipment malfunctions.
• Support radiologist in diagnostic imaging as needed.
