Bronson Healthcare in Battle Creek is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time role (24 hours per week). The candidate will operate ultrasound equipment to perform non-invasive scans and must maintain patient safety and accuracy.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent program, registry eligibility or ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and Abdomen, and BLS within 6–12 months. On-site work with a focus on patient care and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography or completion of an accredited sonography program.
• Must have a minimum of one of the following: a Certificate of Completion of a Hospital based program or Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Six months to a year of on the job clinical experience and training.
• BLS required within 6-12 months after hire; some positions may require additional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Operate and perform ultrasound scans using high-frequency ultrasound machines to image organs, masses, and fluid accumulations.
• Review pertinent patient information and instruct patients on the examination.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic information for interpretation.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure cleanliness of procedure rooms and equipment.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain supply levels in the ultrasound area.
