Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH is seeking a part-time Sonographer to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, both clinical and non-clinical, aligned with optimal image quality and patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an ultrasound program, RDMS certification, BLS, and prior sonography experience. The position emphasizes effective communication, professionalism, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Ultrasound program.
• Registered as a Sonographer by the RDMS.
• Prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Professionalism and rapport with patients, staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Entering on-line charges in the RIS and maintaining accuracy as per policy.
• Provides patient care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
