Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of a large Trinity Health network, seeks a Sonographer for a casual, part-time role. The position includes performing ultrasound procedures, entering charges in the RIS, and maintaining patient safety and care quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires RDMS certification, completion of an ultrasound program, BLS, and strong communication with patients and staff. Prior experience is preferred and professional rapport is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Ultrasound program.
• Registered as a Sonographer by the RDMS.
• Prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.
• High level of professionalism and ability to establish rapport with patients, staff, and physicians.
• Current BLS Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures, professional and non-clinical, with optimal image quality.
• Enter on-line charges in the RIS and ensure accuracy per Administrative Policy.
• Provide patient care, promote safety, and support quality initiatives and standards.
