Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. seeks a part-time Tutor at Brooklyn Park Middle School in Brooklyn Park, Maryland. The position involves 3 hours per week, scheduled Mondays and Fridays from 9:15 to 10:15 am, with 1 hour of prep included.

Tutors provide reading, mathematics, and writing support using our curriculum to help students grow academically and personally. You’ll collaborate with school staff, report progress to families, and follow company-provided instructional models and materials while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
FBI/BCI background check required.
Teaching experience preferred.
Belief that all children can learn.
Ability to use online platforms for records and communication.

Responsibilities

Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods as directed.
Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
Communicate student progress with parents through conferences or reports.
Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as per the Company.
Attend trainings and implement designated models and strategies for reading, math, and writing.
Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
Ensure student supervision and safe escorting to sessions.
Maintain student forms and files per Company, local, state, and federal requirements.
Attend and document meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
