Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking part-time tutors in Connecticut to support reading, mathematics, and writing with school partners. You will diagnose needs, coordinate with school personnel, and communicate progress to families using company materials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) or two years of college study.
• Licensed CT teacher credentials recognized by the State of CT.
• Must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record-keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and apply prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate and conference with parents on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods using company materials.
• Attend training sessions and model strategies in readiness, reading, math, and writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students and safe escort to sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files as required by agencies.
• Attend meetings/trainings with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
