Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of college required.
• Licensed CT teachers preferred.
• FBI/BCI background check required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate progress with parents.
• Deliver instructional models in reading, math and writing.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files as required.
• Attend meetings with supervisors, teachers and parents.
• Maintain inventory of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
