Job summary

Hospital Central Services Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Part-time CDL Class A Driver in Allentown, PA to support our laundry deliveries to local hospitals and healthcare facilities.

You will operate tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure on-time, safe deliveries. Requirements include a CDL Class A, DOT Medical card, at least 2 years of driving experience, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• CDL Class A, DOT Medical card, and experience driving a tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles are required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload laundry carts on and off the vehicle.
• Pre and post-trip inspections and shipment verifications and report any mechanical issues.
• Keep vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
• Deliver clean linen to local hospitals and health care facilities and pick up soiled linens.

What you will be doing:

• Operate tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional information:

This position is based in Allentown, PA. and will be responsible for working weekends and a flexible schedule with varying hours.
