Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based Part Time CDL Driver in Ohio to operate heavy trucks on local routes, load and secure cargo, and perform vehicle inspections. You will also maintain compliant logs and assist with shop responsibilities, with benefits supporting work-life balance.

What You Will Do

• Driving and Transport: Operate heavy trucks or tractor-trailers over local and regional routes
• Cargo Handling: Inspect, load, secure (using chains, straps, or ropes), and unload cargo safely
• Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to check brakes, tires, lights, and equipment.
• Compliance and Logs: Maintain accurate electronic or paper hours-of-service (HOS) logs and trip reports following federal and state regulations.
• Shop and Grounds Maintenance as needed

What You Will Bring

• License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), typically Class A or Class B, with a clean driving record.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
