Job summary

Southcentral KY Community & Technical College is seeking a Part-Time TRiO Math & Science Tutor to support student learning and success. Tutors guide students through course content, build confidence, and develop effective study skills in math and science.

Tutoring is conducted one-on-one, 30–60 minutes, in Building J Resource Room or online via Microsoft Teams. Responsibilities include documenting tutoring data, completing required training, and assisting with TRiO duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade of an A or B in College Algebra & Trigonometry.
• Successful completion of 12+ college credits at an accredited college.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (if currently enrolled in college).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring in Math & Science.
• Sessions last 30–60 minutes, in-person or online via Microsoft Teams.
• Record tutoring data and complete required training.
• Support TRiO’s SSS program and collaborate with the Program Coordinator.
