Job summary

Qualifications

• Tutoring or mentoring experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TRIO programs is a plus.
• Strong classroom learning support skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized tutoring to supplement classroom learning and instruction.
• Help students gain insight into their learning process.
• Assist students in understanding course content.
• Participate in professional development in person and online.
• Provide student perspective on learning, organization, notes, and time management.
• Submit weekly progress reports for each tutee.
• Administer learning style assessments as needed (VARK, Barsch, etc.).
