Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy network. The role involves dispensing medications, patient assistance, and clerical duties under supervision, with travel to multiple Georgia locations.

The position is 32 hours per week, requiring flexibility between Monday and Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST, and travel to Jasper, Dalton, Bremen, Cartersville, Cedartown, and Hiram from Marietta.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Georgia.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to use own car to travel to all locations.

Responsibilities

• Work with EHR platforms and Cover My Meds.
• Prior authorizations and patient assistance medication management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
