Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. Dispense prescriptions, perform clerical work, and travel between Marietta and nearby cities under a pharmacist's supervision.

The role is 32 hours weekly, with shifts between 8:00am–5:00pm EST, and involves travel to Jasper, Dalton, Bremen, Cartersville, Cedartown, and Hiram. Some benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in GA.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations with own car.

Responsibilities

• Work with EHR platforms and Cover My Meds under pharmacist supervision.
• Handle prior authorizations and patient assistance medication management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and consumers.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and verify stock in inventory system.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
