Rippling, Inc. in Cedar City, Utah seeks a resilient Youth Mentor to support 8–14 students in a residential setting. This part-time role emphasizes safety, stability, and growth through relationship-centered care.

You will learn to de-escalate crises, teach coping skills, and document progress as part of a treatment team. Weekend shifts are available with pay starting at $20 per hour and opportunities to earn more through leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 20.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Experience in volatile, uncertain, complex environments preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily activities and supervise student interactions.
• Maintain schedules, boundaries, and therapeutic expectations set by the treatment team.
• Support house leadership to ensure consistency in care and interventions.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and trauma-informed techniques.
• Teach coping skills and reinforce program expectations.
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and incidents.
• Uphold safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Help maintain a structured, safe living environment.
• Provide steady adult leadership during emotionally intense moments.
