Havenwood Cedar City in Cedar City, Utah is seeking a resilient Youth Mentor to support 8–14 students, ensuring their safety, stability, and growth within a team. This full-time swing-shift role requires steady leadership and a trauma-informed approach.

The position offers a starting rate of $20.00 per hour (orientation $17.00) with potential increases up to $23 per hour and leadership opportunities. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 20.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsabilités

• Supporting daily activities and supervising student interactions.
• Maintaining schedules, boundaries, and therapeutic expectations established by the treatment team.
• Responding to crises using de-escalation and trauma-informed techniques.
• Teaching coping skills and reinforcing program expectations.
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of student progress and incidents.
