Community Services Group is seeking a part-time Driver in Pottsville, PA to transport individuals to appointments and programs. Shifts include mornings and afternoons, with one Saturday per month as needed. The role requires driving a 15-passenger van and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, maintaining a clean vehicle, and providing supportive, respectful assistance to participants. Commitment to trauma-informed care and inclusive service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a passenger van.
• Willingness to comply with random drug testing.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle operations and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services in a 15-passenger van between residences, program sites and employment locations.
• Follow safety and regulatory procedures during vehicle operation and passenger transitions.
• Perform vehicle maintenance checks and keep the vehicle clean and safe.
• Support individuals with care and respect for their rights and dignity.
• Model the five trauma-informed care principles: safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness and empowerment.
• Promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.
