Job summary

Community Services Group in Pottsville, PA is seeking a Driver to transport individuals to appointments and programs within our Schuylkill County Adult Mental Health Clubhouse Rehabilitation Program.

The Driver will operate a 15-passenger van, follow safety procedures, perform vehicle checks, and assist participants with dignity and respect. A valid driver's license, 18+ age, and 2 years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years of driving experience required.
• Must be able to drive a passenger van.
• Willingness to comply with random drug testing procedures.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals in a 15-passenger van between homes, programs, offices, and employment locations.
• Follow safety and regulatory procedures during vehicle operation, including assisting individuals in entering/exiting vehicles.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and keep the vehicle clean and safe.
• Provide support to individuals with sensitivity to rights and dignity.
• Learn and model trauma-informed care principles: safety, choice, collaboration, trust, empowerment.
