Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a passenger van.
• Willingness to comply with random drug testing procedures.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle operations and safety.
• Knowledge of geographic area served by the program.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services in a 15 passenger van between residential homes, programs, offices and employment locations.
• Follows safety and regulatory procedures during vehicle operation.
• Performs vehicle maintenance checks and keeps vehicle clean and safe.
• Provides support and assistance to individuals while respecting rights and dignity.
• Learns and models trauma-informed care principles: safety, choice, collaboration, trust, empowerment.
• Promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
