Job summary

Athelas Institute, Inc. is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver in Baltimore, MD. The role provides safe transportation and direct support to individuals up to 29 hours per week, emphasizing independence and community employment participation.

Responsibilities include aiding individuals in and out of vehicles, following care plans, maintaining vehicles, and completing required documentation. Must have CPR/First Aid certification and Mandt System training, with ongoing training required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to scheduled destinations using company or personal vehicles.
• Assist individuals on and off vehicles and support as per plans.
• Maintain clean, safe, fueled vehicles and ensure adequate insurance if using a personal vehicle.
• Complete required documentation including service notes and transportation logs.
• Attend required trainings and maintain current certifications (CPR/First Aid, Mandt System).
