Athelas Institute, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking a Direct Support Professional DOT Driver to provide transportation for supported persons using company vehicles.

The role requires a valid driver's license, DOT readiness, and adherence to safety and state driving laws. You will maintain vehicles, complete required documentation, participate in trainings (CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, MTTP), and support individuals according to care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving experience and no more than 2 points.
• DOT physical completion or eligibility to pass DOT requirements.
• Excellent communication and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation via company vehicles to supported persons.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Transport residents safely to and from destinations.
• Complete state and agency documentation within guidelines and deadlines.
• Assist residents on and off the van and support them per care plans.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, MTTP).
• Utilize agency electronic systems for communication and record-keeping.
