Job summary

Leidos seeks a Training Instructor to support FAA API and FAA Academy, developing and delivering courses, and administering English for Air Traffic Controllers as required. The role involves creating and maintaining course materials and coordinating remote sessions for international participants.

The position emphasizes strategic scheduling, platform-based training delivery, and post-course reporting. Requires a BS/MS with substantial training experience and the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Recent experience conducting technical training or teaching certification.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for planning and delivery.
• Experience with training development and delivery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to respond to customer requirements; strategic scheduling and human resource management; coordinate with other resources to achieve task order goals.
• Configure and manage virtual training technology on FAA-approved platform to support remote course delivery for international participants.
• Communicate with internal and client project teams regarding design and approaches; develop solutions to unclear problems with domain knowledge.
• Produce post-course delivery notes and observations; submit within five business days after course completion; include time tracking and delivery observations.
• Assist in developing, updating, and analyzing project tracking programs; provide technical support and SME for FAA courses/projects as requested.
