Responsibilities

• Move and switch trailers between yards and doors as defined.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Assist with package handling, loading and unloading onto vehicles or conveyors.
• Sort packages by reading labels and charts and using scanning devices.
