Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Traffic Administration at our Jessup, PA distribution center. The role involves monitoring daily traffic operations, coordinating with drivers, and handling paperwork and data entry.

A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and performance goals are met. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day operations of the Transportation department.
• Communicate internally and externally by phone and email.
• Maintain files, documents, paperwork and data entry.
• Manage budgets and performance metrics.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Assist with scheduling drivers and securing loads.
• Operate a Fastenal vehicle and run truck routes as needed (Non-CDL and/or CDL).
