Fastenal in Jessup, PA is hiring Part-Time Maintenance staff to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair duties for facilities, equipment and fixtures in production. This entry-level role is based at the Jessup distribution center, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency in a Fortune 500 environment.

You will work 4:00 pm–10:00 pm, up to 28 hours per week, after onboarding and training. Requirements include being 18+, having a valid driver’s license, strong communication, teamwork, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for using a company vehicle
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbss
• Willingness to bend/reach/stoop and to walk/stand/climb
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors and gears
• Respond to maintenance requests for production equipment
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in hydraulic and electric machinery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules
• Participate in programs supporting health, safety and sustainability goals
• Complete required environmental health and safety trainings
