Job summary

Fastenal in Jessup, PA is seeking a Part-Time Traffic Administration to monitor day-to-day Transportation operations at our distribution center. This entry-level role supports scheduling, data entry, and communications by phone and email.

You will assist with driver scheduling, load securing, budgets and metrics, and ensure safety compliance. The position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance milestones, with a 401(k) benefit.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the effective and efficient daily operations of the Traffic department
• Communicating internally and externally by phone and email
• Maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
• Managing budgets and performance metrics
• Complying with safety regulations
• Assisting with scheduling drivers and securing loads
• Assisting in maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
• Assisting in managing budgets and performance metrics
• Operate a Fastenal vehicle and run truck routes, Non-CDL and/or CDL, as needed
