Job summary

HTU is seeking a part-time Title I Tutor to support elementary students with math and reading skills under the Title I program. The position offers a flexible model, delivering instruction in the classroom or pull-out sessions as directed by the Title I teacher.

• Eligible for Missouri Elementary Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide math and/or reading instruction to elementary students eligible for Title I services.
• Deliver instruction in-class (push in) or outside the classroom (pull out) as directed by Title I teacher.
• Monitor and report student progress on identified skills to the Title I and/or classroom teacher.
• Communicate with parents when requested by the Title I teacher.
• Motivate students using engaging, creative methods.
• Create a high-interest learning environment that excites students.
